BURSTING STRENGTH TESTER

BURSTING STRENGTH TESTER is intended for measuring the bursting strength of paper /strong paper board by submitting it to an increasing uniform hydraulic pressure.  This instrument is reliable and designed to produce the result with high accuracy and repeatability by incorporating Electronics Automatic Pressure release system and conforms to international standard. BS 3137, ISO 2759 TAPPI T 807 Om-82.  T 810 Om-80 etc.

Push switch operates 1/4 horsepower motor, single phase 220/250 volts AC  and drives the hydraulic system and produce uniform increasing pressure of a rate of 170 ml/min+ 15 ml/min.  The test sample is clamped between two clamping parallel plate manually by tightened the screw, and pressure on the sample is transmitted through Rubber Diaphragm which causes the sample to expand into the upper clamping plate until it busts.  After releasing the push swtich pressure gets release automatically and optical sensor stops the motor, which is responsible to produce results with high accuracy and repeatability.  Pressure gauge is fitted with a maximum reading drag point of sample burst, when the main pointer has return to the zero position.
