LABORATORY VALLEY BEATER
VALLEY
BEATER is
intended for testing disintegration, beating or mixing of pulp under
standardized conditions.
A measured amount of pulp of specified stock concentration is beaten between the bars of the roll and the bedplate of a valley beater. Samples of beaten pulp are taken at certain intervals during the beating and formed test sheets from samples are applied under standard tests.
It Conforms to international Standard TAPPI and SCAN.

Acid proof material tub with stainless steel ground and
internally polished.
Hardened bedplate bars having a Brinell hardness of 325 to 357 HB.
Hardened beater roll flybars having a Brinell hardness of 350 to 400
HB.
Adjustable beating pressure by means of weighed lever arm ratio 1.94 to 1
and a dead Weight load of 5500
grams applied to longer arm generates a force of 105 N
or bed plate.
Beater roll speed 8.3 r/s ± 0.2 r/s.
Beater roll beater diameter 168 mm, with 32 flybars inserted the combined
diameter is 190mm- 194mm.
Roll flybars thickness 4.7
mm and width of roll 152 mm.
7 no. bed plate bars, thickness 3.2mm, set in lead, 2.4mm apart.
Net tube volume 25 litres.
Width of plate is 159 ml.
1.5 mm. Thick flexible, rubber diaphragm between the bedplate and bottom
of beater.
Floor stand with the motor and belt drive, coated with anti corrosive
paint.
