FREENESS  TESTER  (^OSR TESTER)    (SCOPPER REIGLER TYPE)

FREENESS TESTER is intended for determining the drainage capabilities or beaten pulp and is universally used to check the progress of the beating process and conforms to the International Standard SCAN M3:65, IS:6213 (Part III)

SPECIFICATIONS :-

¨     All measuring part made of chrome plated bronze metal.

¨     Nozzle made of Model and calibrated according to the SR standards, diameter :Approx. 2.32 mm

¨     Effective diameter of screen wire :100 mm.

¨     Screen Wire Mesh : 100 mesh (Standard)

¨     Inside diameter of cylinder :Approx. 138 mm.

¨     Consistency of specimen : 2 grams

¨     Repeatability : Approx. 1⁰ SR

¨     Two Plexiglas Measuring Cylinder 100 C. C. with double graduation in CCM and ⁰SR.

MEASURING METHOD : - Step By Step

1.         Take out the sample of Pulp.                                                                                                    

2.         Calculate the Consistency of sample Pulp.                                                                             

3.         Find required volume of Pulp so that 2 gm OD fibre in that volume. 

4.         Pour it into measuring cylinder and fill it with water upto 1 litre volume. 

5.         Lock the Freeness Tester and pour one litre pulp mixture in cylinder.   

6.         Unlock the Freeness Tester and keep both cylinder on  bottom of  Tester                         

7.         The ⁰SR value is reading of cylinder kept in center of the instrument.                                  

8.         Clean the instrument and measure another volume.
