FOLDING INDURANCE TESTER

Folding Indurance Tester is intended to determine the Folding Endurance of all kinds of paper card board, foil and film and is applicable to the paper upto 0.15 mm in thickness having a tensile strength greater than 1.3 kn/m. 

Two test sample can be tested simultaneously.  The number of folds are stored into the counter, which are stopped counting automatically when the test sample breaks.  Equipment conforms to the SCAN -P17:77 Standard. 

SPECIFICATIONS

·                     Folding clamps are made of stainless steel for a strip width of 15 mm. 

·                     Loading clamps of dead weight type giving a constant load during a test.

·                     Standard load according to SCAN  and ISO is 7.85 N (Corresponding to a weight of 800 grams.

·                     Folding angle 312⁰

·                     Folding speed 200 double fold per minute.

·                     Dimension of test strip 15 x 100 mm.

·                     Five digit counter with zero setting.  The counter stop automatically and disengaged after rupture of the specimen.

·                     Power supply 220/250 volts A. C. single phase 50 Hz Approx.200 VA.
